My Study Abroad in Florence, Italy
My name is Madison Hey and I just finished my Junior year at the wonderful University of Arkansas, WPS! I am double majoring in Marketing and Supply Chain Management. I am originally from Rogers, Arkansas and now just arrived to my 3 week semester study abroad trip in Florence, Italy. From this experience, I hope to gain intangible skills and lessons that I would not be able to learn anywhere else. I also hope to gain a new perspective on the cultural aspect and educational style of Italy. This experience overall will provide me with skills and knowledge that I can apply and use in my future global business career. I am participating in the exchange program AIFS and will be taking Italian Food and Culture. This is very exciting, as I will be learning the history and cultural aspects of the Italian lifestyles and cuisines. Below is a picture of my first day here in Florence in front of the Basilica of Santa Croce, and I hope you stick around to see what is in store for me!
